Want to work with advanced Autonomous Mobile Robots?
We are always looking for talented humanoids, who are interested in working with high tech mobile robots and automation.
Software
We're looking for a mid-level/Senior Robotics Engineer
The software for our AMRs is based on ROS and C++, where we work with developing and improving the localization, planning and navigation, and perception algorithms. As the robots operate autonomously in demanding environments, robust algorithms are of high importance.
In addition, the fleet management system controls a fleet of multiple robots by ensuring efficient traffic handling and optimization and distribution of the tasks among the robots at large sites.
About the Role
We're looking for a skilled Robotics Engineer to strengthen our software group, which is responsible for developing software for all parts of our system. In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Work on various aspects of the robot platform, including localization, planning and navigation, and perception and control of the robot
- Work on system level aspects including fleet and traffic management, system configuration and user interface.
- Influence product development and workflow based on your expertise
- Collaborate closely with the rest of the team, as well as other departments
- Work at the forefront of technology and shape the future of intralogistics automation.
- Develop software for robots operating globally, enabling you to debug and improve the system in the real world from day one
We maintain a casual work atmosphere but emphasize formal principles such as code review, version control, and continuous integration and testing to ensure a high product quality.
About You
You hold a master's degree with an emphasis on robotics or software engineering. You have professional experience with robot development or are a recent graduate with a high GPA.
Qualifications
- Extensive knowledge of mobile robots
- Strong skills in mathematics and algorithms
- Experience with ROS
- Proficiency in Modern C++ and Python
- Familiarity with Linux
- Real-time programming knowledge (desirable)
- Network programming knowledge (desirable)
- Fluent in English, both written and spoken
